Perry Pittman (retr Vice President) joined Abstract as a drywall laborer.

Ray Turner, James Turner's brother, became an Abstract shareholder.

1980

Abstract built it's first corporate office on Ables Lane in Dallas, Texas.

Bill Benton became an Abstract shareholder.

Jimmy Phillips became the first full-time estimator.

Residence in by Marriott

1989

Residence Inn by Marriott was the first hotel project completed.

Kelly Dilodovico

1992

Kelly Dilodovico, CFO, joined Abstract.

2001

Awarded Excellence in Construction by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. for the historical renovation of The Ashton Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas.

Intuit

2001

Awarded Excellence in Construction by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. for the interior build-out of Intuit Software.

2002

Awarded Excellence in Construction by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. for constructing Granite 190 Center Building A.

Completed the McCommas Eco Bluff Park project which was the first LEED project for the City of Dallas.

Addison Circle Park

Completed the prominent Addison Arts & Events District project (LEED Silver), now known as Addison Circle Park.

Fellowship Bible Church

Awarded Excellence in Construction by Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. for constructing Fellowship Bible Church of Dallas.

McKinney Green Building

2006

Completed the finish-out project for Silver State Mortgage, one of the first tenants in the McKinney Green Building. This building is notable for being the first privately held LEED Platinum Certified structure in the U.S.
